Hey You,

This is The Goose. My sister in Idaho asked me to paint her something. I asked her what and she said, "I don't know. A Goose?" So, there you have it. This is how some paintings come to exist. 

I love sketching out my paintings and never really planning where I'm going to go with the rest. I kind of do life like that. Sometimes the kids and I (6 kids and I) get up and just go. I like surprises and I like the way watercolor surprises me. Sometimes a bleed or a drip takes me to a place I may have never known existed in a painting.
